John Zacho is our Director of Music Ministry.
He received a B.S. degree in Education from Concordia
University in Seward, Nebraska. John
has taught and directed music in churches in Linn, Kansas, Wichita Falls,
and Pasadena, Texas. In 1993
he enrolled at the University of Houston to begin work on a Bachelor of
Music degree in Organ Performance. John
has studied organ under Dr. Paul Manz, Dr. Charles Ore, and Dr. Robert
Jones. He was installed at
Trinity Lutheran on June 27, 1999. John
and his wife Frieda enjoy cooking, antiquing, traveling, playing cards,
exotic coffees, and spending time with the grandchildren.
Choir We have one choir at Trinity. Our choir meets on Wednesdays at 6:00 PM to rehearse music for special services such as Christmas and Easter, and also monthly at the 8:00 AM service. During the summer, we meet only once per month. During the school year, we meet every Wednesday except the 4th Wednesday. Trinity Bells
Joy Bells The Joy Bell Choir is made up of the students who attend Trinity Lutheran Church and School. We also invite students of the San Angelo Christian Home School Association to join us as space permits. We rehearse twice a week during the school year in preparation for our monthly musical offering to the Lord during Chapel services on Wednesdays.
